This Sunday, August 30, the City of Madison is hosting a Ride the Drive event. from the web site:

| What: | Ride the Drive turns a variety of Madison’s signature streets (John Nolen Drive, East Washington Avenue and the Capitol Square) into a public promenade that is closed to motorized vehicles for the duration of the event. Ride the Drive is free and open to the public. |
| Who: | Co-chaired by Mayor Dave Cieslewicz and John Burke of Trek Bicycles. |
| Where: | Ride the Drive is a 6-mile loop from John Nolen Drive to East Washington and around the Capitol Square. |

Charter Communications has activated the cable TV service in all apartments for a few weeks as a trail period. Enjoy!
Wednesday August 5th at 7pm there is a neighborhood meeting regarding a proposed mixed use development project at S. Hamilton Street, S. Henry Street and W. Wilson Street.
